Privacy Policy
This page explains, as of 2026, what information gets collected from anyone visiting Indianthrows and what happens to it afterward.
No Account, No Profile
Searching the library, filtering it, or simply reading a recipe or guide never requires signing up for anything. Nothing here keeps a saved-recipe list, builds a visitor profile, or stores a personal browsing history tied to any individual.
Information Submitted Through a Form
Filling out the Contact form or the Corrections form passes along whatever gets typed into it — usually a name, an email address, and a message. That data exists only to make a reply or a review possible; it is never sold, rented, or handed off for marketing purposes of any kind.
Server Logs
Like virtually any hosted website, the server running Indianthrows keeps a basic technical log of each request — things like IP address, browser type, and the specific page loaded — mainly to catch abuse and keep operations running smoothly. None of this gets assembled into a profile of any individual visitor.
Fonts and Other Third-Party Resources
Because typefaces load from Google Fonts, a visitor's browser ends up contacting Google's servers directly as part of loading the page; no account-level personal data moves through this site in that process. Local storage and other third-party requests get fuller treatment on the separate Cookie Policy page.
Regarding Children
Children are not the intended audience of this recipe reference, and no personal information is knowingly gathered from them.
What a Visitor Can Do
Nothing on this site requires handing over personal information — the full library is readable without it. For anyone who previously submitted a message and would rather it be deleted, that request can be made through the Contact page.
If This Policy Changes
Updates to this page, whenever they happen, come with a refreshed "last updated" date so the change is visible.
