Terms of Use
These terms, current as of 2026, apply automatically the moment someone uses Indianthrows.
What's Allowed
Browsing this site costs nothing and comes with few restrictions. Reading, searching, filtering, printing a page, or sharing a link to it personally are all fine, cooking and teaching and reference use included, as long as the use stays non-commercial.
Who Owns What's Published Here
Indianthrows holds the rights to the recipes, the written guides, and the original photography on this site, except where a specific page states otherwise. Taking large portions of that text or imagery and republishing it elsewhere, under a different name or on a different publication, is not permitted without asking first. A brief quotation that credits the source and links back is a separate matter, and that's fine.
Why Results Aren't Guaranteed
Information and cooking guidance are the purpose of every recipe and guide on this site. Testing happens, and regional or historical claims get checked, but a given kitchen's ingredients, equipment and technique still affect the outcome, which means no specific result can be promised. Food safety and related limits get fuller treatment on the Disclaimer page.
Rules for the Contact and Corrections Forms
Using either form on this site means two things are being agreed to: nothing unlawful, abusive, or knowingly false will be submitted, and whatever information is submitted belongs to the sender to share.
External Links
Historical and cultural references, among other things, occasionally take the form of a link to an outside page. What that external site publishes, and whether it's accurate, is that site's responsibility, not Indianthrows'.
Future Changes to These Terms
These terms can change over time, and continued use of the site after a change is published counts as acceptance of the new version.
